The first busload of illegal immigrants from Texas arrived in New York City.
On Friday, approximately 50 migrants arrived at a Port Authority in New York City. They were met and taken into the care of non-governmental charity workers and volunteers.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott dispatched the illegal immigrant bus to liberal cities in order to draw attention to the issue of illegal immigration in his own state.
Texas is stepping up its efforts to get the federal government’s attention as more illegal immigrants arrive by bus in the nation’s capital.
Gov. Greg Abbott said in a statement on twitter–
The 1st bus of migrants has arrived in NYC.
Biden refuses to do his job, so Texas continues to take unprecedented action to secure our border.
NYC is the ideal destination for these migrants.

The most recent busload of migrants from Texas arrived in Washington, D.C. late Tuesday night. According to Texas, at least 5,100 migrants have been sent to the nation’s capital.
Mayor Muriel Bowser of Washington, D.C., who has advocated for accepting illegal immigrants as a human rights issue, requested that the District of Columbia National Guard be activated indefinitely to assist with what she called a “humanitarian crisis.”
Both Bowser and New York City Mayor Eric Adams have raised concerns about migrants being sent to their cities, blaming Arizona and Texas for the influx. (Arizona has said it will not send migrants to New York City.)
Abbott invited the mayors to the border, but Adams refused.
