6 Powerful Weapons You Can Make From Home

Every prepper should be versed in a variety of powerful weapons you can make from home.

Not only does this build up your survival skills, but it also enhances your creativity. After all, if you can make one of these weapons, it’s likely you can make even more using the resources around you.

Plus, guns are powerful things – but you won’t always have them. Especially if you’re in a “gun-free” zone, or have your firearm taken/stolen from you.

Not to mention, if the government decides to start snatching up guns, they simply have to pull up their database of people owning registered firearms and track you down. And if you don’t have a back-up weapon, you’ll be scrambling for defense options.

As such, it’s always important to think on your feet and use what you have to your advantage. And if you can make one (or more) of these powerful weapons, you’ll likely give an attacker a run for their money.

6 Powerful Weapons You Can Make From Home

Flame Thrower

This one is insane. It’s also incredibly effective, fairly simple to make, and just plain badass.

Couple things: This weapon could be extremely dangerous to YOU (the user). If you point it into a strong wind or use the wrong type of fuel, you’ll set yourself on fire. Be extremely cautious when using this survival weapon.

Watch this video to learn how it’s done.

Bullwhip

You may be familiar with the bullwhip Indiana Jones used in his various movies. Well, although much of what is done/used in the films is considered “Hollywood magic,” it’s still very possible to make your own badass bullwhip.

No Tricks Here – This “Invisible” Firearm Is The Real Deal

It’s not just Indiana Jones’ tool of choice, either. Bullwhips were originally created to help control livestock. And although farmers may not have hit their cattle with the whip, its unique design allows it to exceed the speed of sound, and create a small sonic boom. And that “crack” of the whip is bound to intimidate anyone that crosses you.

Obviously, the bullwhip can also make a pretty impressive weapon against attackers as well. And if you’ve got enough paracord, you can make your very own bullwhip – all from the comfort of your own home.

Check out the videos below on how to make the bullwhip (first video) and how to use it for defense (second video). Enjoy!

Caltrops

For those who don’t know, caltrops are basically spiky, pointy devices thrown all over the road. These are essential for stopping vehicles in their tracks, since they pop the tires of any car that’s chasing you.

These are essential for any survival situation where people can use their cars (thereby giving you a huge advantage).

Check out the video below to learn how to make these bad boys.

Bludgeons

There’s few things that can cause as much permanent damage as a blunt force weapon. This is especially true for homemade ones, since you can choose a variety of nails, spikes, etc. to add and make it as deadly as you want.

The Feds Hate That They Can’t Seize This Deadly Weapon

Not to mention, you can use lots of things for the actual club, such as a broom handle, an instrument, a pot/pan, and more.

Check out the video below to learn how to make this deadly self-defense weapon.

Throwing Stars

Get on the wrong side of a throwing star, and you’re in for a world of pain. These immensely sharp handheld weapons are great for when you’re on-the-go, especially since they can be easily concealed. (Just wrap them in something before storing so they don’t rip up your bug-out bag).

All it takes is some scrap metal and a few shop tools to make this work. Keep in mind you can also make a similar tool by binding shards of glass together. However, this glass option is often only good for a single use (whereas the scrap metal ones are multi-use).

Check out the video below for all the details.

NOTE: You might recognize this as a “ninja weapon.” You can read about another awesome DIY ninja weapon in our survival article right here.

Sniper Rifle

Plot twist: we included a firearm. Although all the weapons above can be extremely useful, there’s nothing that can replace a firearm. And that’s the absolute truth.

Problem is, as mentioned above, you have to register these. So the government can easily track you down and take it if they want to.

But here’s the curious thing about this sniper rifle… this one requires zero registration. It also doesn’t have a serial number, and is 100% legal in all 50 states.

Plus you can make it from the safety and comfort of your own home. So if there’s a government takeover and martial law comes into effect, your neighbors and friends will have their guns stripped from them, leaving them defenseless. But not you.

Since the government doesn’t know you own this firearm, you’ll be sittin’ pretty, ready to take on anyone who tries to take away your Second Amendment rights.

We don’t have a video for this one, but just click this link and you’ll discover how to make this bad boy and keep yourself prepared.
