( ConcernedPatriot.com) – In his keynote speech at the Turning Point Action Conference in West Palm Beach, Florida, former President Donald Trump warned Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to “get back” to Florida and “do the job he was elected to do.”
Trump’s prepared remarks include, “It is time for Ron DeSanctus to get back here and do the job he was elected to do—be the Governor of FLORIDA.” “He’s got to get home and take care of business.”
Trump urged DeSantis to return to Florida to address the state’s home and auto insurance crisis.
Trump said, “He’s got to get home and deal with the worst insurance situation in the country.”
One day before Trump’s comments, AAA indicated that it would join Farmers Insurance in not renewing house and auto insurance for certain of its policyholders in Florida.
Trump continues, “All the money he is spending on a hopeless cause, his election, should be used to support the party defeating Crooked Joe Biden in November 2024.”
Trump suggested using funds from DeSantis’ campaign to support a project investigating allegations of voter fraud and ballot harvesting by Democrats.
Trump said: “Now is the time for Republicans to use those funds to build a cutting-edge vote-gathering operation to swamp the Democrats’ fraud and ballot harvesting.”
DeSantis and his “establishment handlers” came under fire from Trump for splintering the Republican Party.
“Instead of uniting against Crooked Joe Biden and the Communist Left’s unparalleled weaponization of police enforcement, DeSanctus, and his establishment masters are squandering resources to further split our party,” according to Trump.
“Always remember that our adversaries want to stop us because we are the only ones capable of stopping THEM. Because I won’t allow them to take away YOUR freedom, they want to take away MY freedom as well,” Trump continued.
“They want to silence me, but I won’t allow them to silence you,” he said. “In the end, they are after you, not me, and I am merely getting in their way.”
