REPORT: CIA Ignored Ukraine's Plot to Attack Nord Stream Pipeline

(ConcernedPatriot.com) – According to a report released Tuesday, the CIA alerted the Biden administration three months before the sabotage that the Ukrainian military was planning a covert strike on the undersea Nord Stream pipeline.

According to the Washington Post, a six-person special diving squad that answered directly to the head of the Ukrainian armed forces was in charge.

They left a German port in a hired yacht they had obtained using false passports before detonating explosives to cut the pipelines.

According to the paper that Shane Harris and Souad Mekhennet put together, intelligence data was extensively disseminated inside and outside the White House. It reads:

“Details about the plan, which have not been previously reported, were collected by a European intelligence service and shared with the CIA in June 2022.

They provide some of the most specific evidence to date linking the government of Ukraine to the eventual attack in the Baltic Sea, which U.S. and Western officials have called a brazen and dangerous act of sabotage on Europe’s energy infrastructure.

The European intelligence reporting was shared on the chat platform Discord, allegedly by Air National Guard member Jack Teixeira. The Washington Post obtained a copy from one of Teixeira’s online friends.”

The Post article goes on to identify more sources for the leak that revealed Ukraine’s sabotage of the Russia-to-Germany natural gas project.

According to Breitbart London, it adds to assertions made in February that there is no proof that Moscow was responsible for the shutdown of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines.

The statement continues, “The source’s information could not immediately be corroborated, but the CIA shared the report with Germany and other European countries last June, according to multiple officials familiar with the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive intelligence operations and diplomatic discussions.”

The intelligence report was based on information “obtained from an individual in Ukraine.”

The incredibly detailed information, which includes the number of operators and the types of sabotage used, demonstrates that “for almost a year, Western allies had reason to suspect Kiev in the sabotage.”

“In recent months, German law enforcement authorities have found information concerning the bombing very similar to what the European service claimed Ukraine was planning, which has only strengthened that view,” according to a Post story.

Western leaders such as German Economy Minister Robert Habeck and U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm argued the opposite and blamed Russia immediately after the September blasts.

In contrast, the Kremlin has previously accused the British of being responsible, alleging without providing proof that the Royal Navy was involved in the “planning, provision, and implementation of a terrorist attack in the Baltic Sea” to destroy the pipelines.

The British government denied involvement, calling the allegations “epic-scale false claims.”

Since then, officials have stated that fixing the pipelines will cost hundreds of millions of dollars.
