President Trump On WHY He didn't FIRE Dr. Fauci

(ConcernedPatriot.com) – In a segment of an interview with the Fox News Channel broadcast on Tuesday’s “Special Report,” Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said he didn’t fire Dr. Anthony Fauci.

He said it was because he couldn’t. He added, “But I wouldn’t let that usually get in my way.” He also stated that he didn’t spend much time with Fauci.

Trump said that his Republican opponent in 2024, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, “loved Fauci.”

“DeSantis “had lines of people trying to get the vaccine,” according to Trump. “He organized everything. Furthermore, Ron DeSantis loved Fauci,” he said.

Bret Baier, the host, said, “Sure. But you didn’t let him go; instead, you paid attention to him and kept him on.”

“You can’t actually dismiss him,” Trump said. “I wouldn’t let that typically get in the way. It’s one of those things. However, I hardly ever spent much time with Fauci.”

He continued, “Biden is the culprit. Fauci rose to prominence under Biden. Don’t close it to China, Fauci stressed, in case you forgot. I shut China out. Fauci, it’s hard to believe, started off as a fierce opponent of masking before changing his mind.”

Trump added, “However, the vaccination requirements are terrible, and I have always opposed them. However, I actually leave the governors’ judgment on the vaccinations to them.”

“However, a lot of people — I mean, you do — adore vaccinations. In actuality, they lean more Democratic than Republican. There are many persons who claim to have saved 100 million lives. I never even bring it up.”
