(ConcernedPatriot.com) – According to a Convention of States Action/Trafalgar Group poll this week, most general election voters are prepared to stop buying Chinese goods to deter Chinese aggression and reduce U.S. reliance on Chinese manufacturing.

“Would you be willing to quit buying Chinese goods to diminish America’s reliance on Chinese manufacturing and combat the Communist Party of China’s hostile actions?” was the question posed to respondents in the survey.
Compared to 10% who said they were unwilling and 11.4% who were still unclear, 78.7% of respondents stated they would be ready to stop buying Chinese items.
To minimize America’s dependence on Chinese manufacturing and to defend the country from invasion from the communist nation, 74.2 percent of Democrats, 92.1 percent of Republicans, and 67.1 percent of independents indicated they would be willing to cease buying Chinese items.
The survey has a +/- 2.9 percent margin of error and was conducted March 20–22, 2023, among 1,081 probable general election voters.
I've been ringing the alarm on China's aggression long before they flew a spy balloon over Montana.
Spying on Montanans is a grave threat, and so is buying up our farmland. We've got to pass my bipartisan bill to block adversaries like China from acquiring American farmland. pic.twitter.com/gAFP0ibO9A

A hearing on China’s growing threat was held in February by the U.S. House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, which featured multiple witnesses, including former national security adviser H.R. McMaster.
As reported by UPI:
“McMaster said the work of the committee is crucial now more than ever, observing that the United States has fallen behind on technology and finance fronts in confronting China while holding onto an “assumption” that China would “play by the rules” as a member of the World Trade Organization.
McMaster urged the United States to catch up with the competitive moves being made by the CCP.
While McMaster gave his opening testimony, a protester stood up behind him, holding a sign that read, “China is not our enemy.” She exclaimed, “We need cooperation, not competition,” while she was escorted out by security.
After she was removed, another protester stood holding a sign — upside down at first — that read “Stop Asian hate.” He was escorted out by security, too, while saying something unintelligible on video.”
At the hearing, human rights advocate Tong Yi said that the United States must “face the fact that we have helped feed the young dragon of the Chinese Communist Party to develop into what it is.”
“American businesses take advantage of the CCP’s wealth by using inexpensive labor in China. Wall Street sends billions from retirement savings to the CCP through its passive investment portfolios. This is not how it had to be. We are currently experiencing the effects of these policies,” Tong Yi continued.
