North Korea's 800,000 New Soldiers Set Sights on America!

( – North Korea’s state-run media reported on Saturday that nearly 800,000 people enlisted in the military in a single day.

The state-run newspaper declared: “The soaring enthusiasm of young people to enlist in the army is a demonstration of the unshakable will of the younger generation to mercilessly wipe out the war maniacs making last-ditch efforts to destroy our beloved socialist country and achieve the great cause of national reunification without fail.”

Males are expected to serve in the military for 10 years, whereas female conscripts only need to serve for three years.

The U.S. and South Korea began joint military exercises last week when North Korea began its recruitment drive and launched a missile. Operation Freedom Shield 23 started on March 13 and will end on March 23.

Another ballistic missile launched by the Kim dictatorship on Sunday, according to estimates from South Korea and Japan, traveled around 500 kilometers across the nation before splashing down in the ocean off the east coast.

The missile reportedly fell outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone, and there were no reports of injuries due to the launch.

North Korea justified its launches by blaming joint military exercises between the U.S., Japan, and South Korea, pledging to respond to such actions with “overwhelming strong” force.

The military contends that these actions have successfully served as deterrence for North Korea.

Brigadier General Pat Ryder told reporters last week, “I believe what’s important for people to understand is, one, deterrence continues to work. The United States, Japan, South Korea, and other allies and partners in the region will continue to work together to strengthen that deterrence and to keep our countries safe. North Korea is not attacking, nor should they.”

Here’s President Trump speaking about the relationship between North Korea and the U.S. under his watch:

North Korea frequently announces the launch date of its provocative nuclear tests, claiming that its arsenal can wipe out its adversaries.

However, many foreign analysts dismiss the North’s assertions as propaganda and contend it is not yet nuclearly capable of attacking the United States or its allies.
