(ConcernedPatriot.com) – A frightening attack by a sizable group of adolescents at the San Clemente Pier on Friday night left three local US Marines needing medical attention.
Hunter Antonino, a self-described Marine, claims that he and his two buddies were taking it easy on their day off and strolling down the San Clemente Pier when a group of around 30 to 40 adolescents arrived.
He reportedly asked the teens to stop setting off fireworks when one of the pieces hit him in the face.
“They were setting fireworks off. They were acting aggressively. They were bothering other individuals and being obnoxious,” Antonino told KCAL News.
When he asked them to stop, onlookers say 30 to 40 teens followed them to the dock. That’s where things got rough.
The Marine Lance Corporal believes he may have received a concussion due to the vicious assault, beatings, and stomping.
“My face still looks like it’s covered with blood,” he told the local news. “It wasn’t cool at all.”
“We told them that we were Marines so that they would leave, but they just kept going at it,” he continued.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department (OCSD) is working hard to find those guilty of this horrible conduct and bring them to justice.
“Due to the number of suspects under investigation, this is being treated as an assault with a deadly weapon,” according to Orange County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Frank Gonzalez.
“While these victims were on the ground, their feet were the weapons employed. The sheriff’s department will conduct a thorough investigation and attempt to identify the culprits, whether the victims choose to pursue legal action or receive medical care.”
