(ConcernedPatriot.com) – The well-known California fast-food chain In-N-Out has aroused the left’s wrath with a new rule requiring employees to provide a doctor’s note if they wish to wear a mask to work.
The new In-N-Out mask policy, which was purportedly communicated to staff members via memo ahead of the policy’s implementation date, was revealed on Twitter by scientific influencer Dr. Lucky Tran.

Tran provided screenshots from the email she got that seemed legitimate. However, according to Mary Sue, In-N-Out has not publicly commented on the policy.
“Stores in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, and Utah will be subject to the new policy.”
It says that “no employee is allowed to wear a mask unless they present a doctor’s certificate exempting them from the rule. Unless they can show another letter exempting them from that requirement, they must wear an N-95 mask provided by the firm if they submit the medical note,” it added.
According to reports, In-N-Out will not enforce the rule in California, where the company is based.
According to the new policy, a medical note for an employee who wants to wear a mask “clearly states the reason for the exemption,” along with the “estimated duration” for the mask.
People who disobey the law may be punished “up to and including termination of employment.” The business added that the prohibition will “emphasize the importance of customer service and the ability to show our Associates’ smile.”
Dr. Lucky Tran referred to the policy as “discriminatory.” He urged individuals to express their displeasure with the fast food restaurant.

Critical to note In-N-Out isn’t trying this in CA because the state has laws preventing employers from banning masks.
But the CA case which ruled employers can’t be sued for spreading COVID seems to have emboldened companies to try mask bans in other states without protections. pic.twitter.com/54gEj7w3Mo

According to reports, the conservative In-N-Out fought the California government for failing to implement vaccine requirements at specific locations during the coronavirus pandemic.
The In-N-Out Burger restaurant in the vicinity of Fisherman’s Wharf was shut down by the San Francisco Department of Public Health in 2021 because “employees were not properly checking for customers’ vaccination documentation.”
In-N-Out Chief Legal & Business Officer Arnie Wensinger stated that the company “fiercely” disagrees with governmental regulations that compel companies to discriminate.
“We won’t act as any government’s vaccine police,” they say. “To require our restaurant staff to separate clients into groups that can and cannot be served based on the identification they are carrying or for any other reason,” he added, “is illogical, intrusive, and unsafe.”
He continued, “We vehemently oppose any government mandate that compels a private enterprise to discriminate against customers who choose to use their services.”
