(ConcernedPatriot.com) – On CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday, former attorney general Bill Barr stated that he now thinks former President Donald Trump will be charged with crimes related to the Capitol disturbance on January 6, 2021.
According to co-host Robert Costa, Trump was charged and arraigned in the case involving the data. “Could he be a target in the case from January 6?” he asked Barr.
“Yes,” said Barr. “Additionally, I have defended him in cases that I believe to be unjust, such as the one in New York and other instances.”
Barr continued, “I believe that due to First Amendment concerns, the January 6 case will be challenging to argue. However, I’m starting to believe they’ll actually do that. It should happen this summer, in my opinion.”
“We don’t want to get into a position where people can’t complain about an election,” he continued, “because of the First Amendment interests.”

“I am more skeptical of that case,” Barr said in his conclusion, “but I think it is likely that it will be brought.”
