Another Biden Migrant Murder: This Time A 21-Month-Old Boy

In another tragic incident highlighting the failures of the Biden administration’s immigration policies, a Guatemalan migrant has been accused of murdering a 21-month-old boy in Chester County, Pennsylvania. This heartbreaking case underscores the urgent need for stricter border controls and a reevaluation of current immigration practices.

Enrique Lopez Gomez, a 20-year-old migrant from Guatemala, was arrested and charged last week with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in the death of 21-month-old Anilson Mauricio Perez Gomez. The charges are a stark reminder of the potential dangers posed by unchecked immigration policies that prioritize open borders over American safety.

According to the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, on June 24, Lopez Gomez was babysitting Anilson when he struck him in the abdomen. The child’s mother later picked him up and took him to her sister’s house, where Anilson became unconscious. Rather than seeking immediate medical help, Lopez Gomez performed a Guatemalan healing ritual on the child before leaving. This lack of proper medical care resulted in tragic consequences.

When the child’s uncle called 911, Anilson was found wrapped in a blanket, without a pulse, and with white foam coming from his mouth. The toddler died shortly after being taken to a nearby children’s hospital. An autopsy revealed that the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the abdomen, a result of Lopez Gomez’s violent actions.

“[Lopez Gomez] brutally injured a toddler under his care, failed to get the child medical care, and caused his death,” Chester County District Attorney Christopher de Barrena-Sarobe stated. This incident is a grim testament to the dangers that can arise from allowing migrants into the country without sufficient vetting.

The child’s aunt revealed that Anilson and his mother had only been living in Chester County for less than a year and had trusted Lopez Gomez as a responsible adult. Lopez Gomez, who has lived in the area for roughly five years, is now in police custody with a $10 million bail set. The investigation into the murder is ongoing, and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency has placed a detainer on Lopez Gomez, requesting custody if he is released at any time.

This case serves as a powerful indictment of the current administration’s immigration policies. Allowing migrants into the country without thorough vetting has led to tragic consequences, as seen in this horrific incident. The American public deserves a government that prioritizes their safety and security over political agendas.

The Biden administration must take immediate action to address these issues. Strengthening border controls, enforcing existing immigration laws, and ensuring that dangerous individuals are not allowed to enter and remain in the country are critical steps that must be taken to protect American citizens.

This tragic case is a stark reminder that the administration’s current approach to immigration is failing. It’s time to put the safety and well-being of American citizens first and implement policies that prevent such devastating incidents from happening in the future.
