23 Survival Tools You Can Make From Paracord

Survival tools are a man’s (or woman’s) best friend when SHTF. Because, let’s face it – we’re going to need all the help we can get in an emergency situation.

Many preppers resort to purchasing pre-made survival tools off of Amazon or from a store for all their prepping needs. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Heck, these methods can offer convenient, easy-to-use solutions to stock your bug out bag with.

Unfortunately, many of the survival tools preppers purchase are one-use items. Meaning they’re only good for one purpose, and one purpose only. And, sure, these can definitely come in handy. But this definitely shouldn’t be the case for all your survival tools.

Take paracord, for example. This incredible rope-like item lends itself to TONS of different uses. And, when I say tons, I mean it. Not to mention, it’s crazy lightweight and durable, making it a no-brainer addition to any bug out bag or set of camping gear.

You may have seen certain preppers wearing paracord bracelets. This is a great way to make sure that your paracord is ready whenever you need it. After all, you simply unlace it, and it’s ready to help you complete your task, such as bundling supplies or pitching a tent.

However, that’s not all it can do. Not even close.

The options really get interesting once you purchase 550 paracord. This means it can hold up to 550 pounds of weight on it, without breaking or fraying. And that’s pretty dang impressive.

There’s no doubt about it. Paracord is by far one of the most useful survival tools a prepper can have when the SHTF. Plus, it can even be an excellent material to use for everyday solutions! Even if you’re not currently preparing for an emergency (and if you aren’t, we need to talk…) you can use paracord to help make your life easier, safer, and just plain better.

You’ll discover the importance of paracord too, once you take a look at these…

23 Survival Tools You Can Make From Paracord

First off, let’s take a look at some of the most useful things you can use paracord with. These can truly be life-saving in an emergency!

Here’s even more things you can do with paracord! These uses will undoubtedly come in handy when an emergency hits (or just in everyday life)!

Paracord Dog Toys

Who needs to drop tons of cash at places like Petco and Petsmart? Especially when you can make your own dog toys out of paracord?!

These super durable ropes are the perfect chew toy for any canine. Not only will these strengthen your dog’s teeth, but they’ll also help keep them entertained for hours (especially if you lather peanut butter on them). These can really be a godsend if you bring your dog along when SHTF.

Better yet, you can customize these by making them as large or as small as you want. That way no dog will miss out on tug of war games during your downtime.

There’s a lot more uses for paracord you’ve probably never even thought of! Here’s 22 more from Survival Life:
